U.S. Senator Pete Ricketts of Nebraska has expressed his support for a Continuing Resolution that will ensure federal government funding through the end of the fiscal year. In his statement, Ricketts highlighted the importance of avoiding a government shutdown and noted the benefits of the resolution.

“This Continuing Resolution prevents a costly government shutdown,” Ricketts stated. He emphasized that it “enables President Trump and DOGE to continue identifying wasteful spending.” Furthermore, he pointed out that it allows Congress additional time to engage in a more structured appropriations process.

The resolution is intended to maintain government operations while addressing budgetary concerns and enabling further discussions on fiscal management.
