Senator Pete Ricketts, representing Nebraska, shared updates on his recent activities and policy positions in a series of posts published on April 2 and 3, 2026.
On April 2, Ricketts highlighted his visit to Blair where he toured local manufacturing sites. He wrote, “Great to be in Blair this week touring Novonesis and Evonik! We partnered with @ShopFloorNAM and discussed how the Working Families Tax Cuts boosts the manufacturing industry. The no tax on overtime provisions specifically are helping these manufacturers keep workers!”.
Later that day, he addressed biofuel policy initiatives by the Trump administration. In his post dated April 2, Ricketts stated, “The Trump administration and @epaleezeldin are committed to supporting Nebraska biofuels. They announced the largest RVOs in history! Biofuels are a win for consumers, the environment, and farmers and ranchers. The latest RVOs unleash American energy and support Nebraska”.
On April 3, Ricketts shared a message marking Good Friday: “Today reminds us that even in the darkest moments, Jesus Christ’s love for us is always a beacon of light. Wishing everyone a blessed Good Friday.”
Ricketts’ career has focused on tax relief and workforce development—priorities reflected in his legislative agenda as U.S. Senator and previously as Governor of Nebraska.
