Census Bureau: More women than men in Hay Springs in 2019

Of the 596 people living in Hay Springs in 2019, 53.5 percent (319) were women and 46.5 percent (277) were men, according to U.S. Census Bureau data obtained by the Nebraska Panhandle News.

Males 18 and over outnumbered females in the same age group by a ratio of 147-to-145. In the 65 and over age range, there were 134 females and 102 males.
