Trees & Me Early Childhood Workshop: UNL Panhandle Extension Center Scottsbluff, Nebraska
Join NFS and Bird Conservancy of the Rockies for a professional development opportunity centered on a brand-new curricula offering which connects little learners with nature! During this workshop, we explore activities from Project Learning Tree’s Trees & Me curriculum guide focused on early childhood students ages 1-6. This workshop is occurring July 21st from 6:30-8:30 PM MST at University of Nebraska Panhandle Research & Extension Center, Scottsbluff, Nebraska. Time will be spent during this workshop focusing on how to explore trees, birds, and nature in your backyard with littles. Participants will receive a copy of PLT Trees & Me curriculum, a certificate for 2 hours of in-service credit, and the background knowledge to implement these hands-on and heads-on experiences in their work with youth right away!
