October 29th (2022) is National Prescription Drug Take Back Day! The Box Butte Sheriff’s Office and The Alliance Police Department will take part in the DEA’s Take Back Program. The Drop-off site will be in the lobby of the police department (512 Niobrara Avenue). The drop-off site will be open from 10:00 A.M. to 2:00 P.M. Take Back Day is your chance to rid your medicine cabinet of unneeded and unwanted medication. Help us prevent future medication misuse and opioid addiction. We will be collecting:
• Tablets
• Capsules
• Patches
• Other solid forms of prescription drugs
Drop off locations are safe and anonymous.
