Today, U.S. Senator Pete Ricketts from Nebraska expressed his support for President Donald Trump's recent executive actions, taken on the first day of his term. In a statement, Ricketts highlighted several key areas where he believes these actions will benefit the nation.

"Today, President Trump began delivering on his promises to the American people," Ricketts stated. He emphasized that Trump's border policies are aimed at enhancing national security: "His border actions will keep Americans safe."

Ricketts also praised the repeal of certain mandates from the previous administration under President Biden. According to him, "His repeal of Biden’s delusional mandates will make our nation more prosperous."

Furthermore, Ricketts pointed out the establishment of a new governmental department: "His creation of a Department of Government Efficiency will bring needed accountability to the federal bureaucracy." He concluded by asserting that these measures reflect what voters had sought: "This is the change Americans voted for."
