U.S. Senator Pete Ricketts (R-NE) has released his second annual Ricketts Review, a report that outlines his legislative efforts and achievements for Nebraska during the 119th Senate session.
The report details several legislative actions, including the passage of the One Big Beautiful Bill. According to the review, this law prevents a $2,443 tax increase, increases child tax credits, and makes permanent the exemption from the Death Tax. It also ensures there will be no taxes on tips, overtime pay, or Social Security income.
The Ricketts Review also highlights bipartisan legislation such as the HALT Fentanyl Act and the Laken Riley Act. The document notes that despite what it describes as significant partisan obstruction in the Senate, a record number of nominees were confirmed during this period.
"The Review outlines Ricketts’ legislative work to keep Americans safe, make government work, and deliver proven Nebraska solutions," according to Senator Ricketts' office.
Physical copies of the report are available at Senator Ricketts’ offices in Scottsbluff, Kearney, Lincoln, and Omaha.
