Waterwise Wednesday: Water-Saving Holiday Clean-up Tips
1. Refrigerate a pitcher of water for drink refills.
2. Use one glass for the day, mark glasses to keep track throughout the day.
3.. Scrape plates into the compost bin instead of rinsing under the tap
4. Run full loads in the dishwasher. If you handwash, fill one basin about 1/3 full with hot soapy water, fill the second with hot clean water for rinsing.
5. Use leftover water and ice to water houseplants.
