GRAND ISLAND, NE – U.S. Senator Pete Ricketts (R-NE) announced he will be hosting his first-ever “Federal Issues Forum” at the Nebraska State Fair on August 26, 2024, from 10 AM to 1 PM CT. The event will feature three panel discussions focused on Nebraska’s agriculture industry.
“Serving Nebraskans will always be my first priority and it’s important that we do everything we can to protect our number one industry in the state which is agriculture,” Ricketts said in an interview with Nebraska TV’s Steve White. “That’s why we’re doing this Federal Issues Forum at the Nebraska State Fair. I want to make sure that Washington knows what challenges agriculture is facing in states like Nebraska.”
The panels will be open to the public and include a moderated question-and-answer portion.
Media interested in attending must RSVP to Ian_Swanson@ricketts.senate.gov to receive detailed media guidance at a later date.
